Barrel Selection

Each barrel come’s with it’s unique signature and tastes. Bring your restaurant staff, whiskey collection group, or company all-stars to hand select a barrel for all of you to take home and enjoy. Walk through the process with the founder, Maximilian Merrill, and taste a variety of barrels and proofs before bottling the entire barrel for you to take home.

Barrel Investment Program

Each year Ponfeigh will reach out to the community who want to invest in Somerset County Rye and thus gain 10% interest on that investment which is a note that is attached to the the barrel itself and literally a “liquid” asset. Ponfeigh give each investor a record at the end of the year and when your barrels are dumped you are paid your interest within 60 days of us dumping that barrel. Each year barrel investors are invited to the distillery for researching how the spirit is aging and will help determine when these barrels are used for our next round of bottling. This a is a fun way to invest in Somerset County’s whiskey heritage and the birth place of American Rye Whiskey .
